Wojskowe Zakłady Motoryzacyjne S.A. are part of the PGZ Capital Group an entity responsible, in particular, for maintenance, repairs, overhaul (MRO), modifications, modernizations, as well as conducting research and development work of tracked armored equipment, mainly in the field of Leopard 2 tanks, T-72 tanks and BWR-1S / 1D reconnaissance vehicles, as well as infantry fighting vehicles BMP-1 and any other tracked vehicle especially MBT’s. WZM S.A. provides services in a professional, timely and qualitatively manner, characterized by the highest standards, with emphasize on providing support for the vehicle throughout its whole life cycle. The company, having its own machine park, also manufactures selected spare parts not only for maintained vehicles, but as well as special devices and tools. Wojskowe Zakłady Motoryzacyjne S.A., which has been operating on the defense market since 1945, can boast over 77 years of rich history.
In addition to the implementation of current Long-Term Agreements concluded with the units of the Ministry of National Defense od Poland, WZM S.A. is looking for new directions of development and obtaining orders, and due to that takes part in many procedures and tenders that may result in new contracts in the near future. In particular, taking into account existing in WZM S.A. potential for securing any modern tank platform throughout its whole life cycle, strive for the role of an integrator and the so-called "system house" for new military equipment – MBT’s acquired by the Ministry of National Defense. All of that would be not possible if WZM S.A. had no strong design and technology department alongside with a training center capable of securing internal and external needs. The company also specializes in repairs of power units (including quick-replaceable power units - the so-called power-packs), including power units in all tanks of the Leopard 2 family.
