Autumn Agrotech marks its place in history
Although autumn is not a usual date for the International Fair of Agricultural Techniques, the Kielce exhibition and congress centre hosted a plethora of the agricultural machinery showcased by industry's top-ranking companies. The expo visitors had the opportunity to see the pre-premiere shows of tractors, trailers and harrows. 8 to 10 October - this is when Targi Kielce welcomed over 20,000 visitors.
This year's Agrotech Expo, although smaller, is still a good and comprehensive offer for farmers - emphasised Andrzej Mochoń, President of the Management Board of Tragi Kielce. That is why the Kielce exhibition and congress centre's expo halls were full - leading forms in tractor and combine business, seeds, fodder and plant protection chemicals manufacturers joined the trade show. Two hundred fifty exhibitors to this year's edition also included developers of applications designed to help farmers; the software intended for precise fertilisers dosing and enhanced control over machinery engines.
The opening ceremony - the prize-awarding time
Aleksandra Hadzik PhD. - President of the Farmers' Social Security Fund handed KRUS Safety Seals, granted to machines and devices with a high level of work safety on a farm. This year's KRUS Seal was presented to Janusz Gruszczewski - the owner of Agromasz Mrągowo Metal Worls, the producer of front loaders.
The Cup of the President of the National Council of Agricultural Chambers, Wiktor Szmulewicz was also bestowed to the Agency for Restructuring and Modernisation of Agriculture for its work to support the development of agriculture and rural areas. Furthermore, companies celebrating anniversaries were also appreciated: 30 years of KRUS, and 10 years of Gospodarz.pl in the media market.

Poultry farming was discussed at Targi Kielce for the first time.
For the first time, the Targi Kielce Congress Centre hosts speakers and guests of the World Poultry Congress. The extensive list of topics included the sustainable development of the poultry production chain, management and welfare of broiler breeders, breeding according to agriculture 4.0.
The event is composed of 3 thematic blocks: production economy, well-being and nutrition. The event was attended by over 100 participants - the speakers list included the leading representatives of agricultural and breeding organisations from Poland and EU countries. Formal and less formal meetings
This year's Agrotech abounded with meetings of formal and less formal nature. Agrotech wass the chance to talk to Mateusz Misiak, the popular Matheo780 and GR Załoga, i.e. sisters Marlena and Weronika Załoga. The Youtubers shared offered their fans an insight into the history, the first films, favourite machines, and also tips on keeping an account in social media.
During brokerage meetings organised by Swietokrzyskie Innovativeness and Technology Transfer Centre, welcomed exhibitors and offered them a chance to talk shop; 30-minute face-2-face talks made it possible for companies to present their offer and portfolio.
