You still can submit candidates for the Per Artem Ad Deum Medal. The awarding ceremony will take place during next year's Sacroexpo Exhibition!

Music, film, literature and visual arts - candidates from these art domains can be nominated for next year's Per Artem Ad Deum award. Applications can be submitted last until 21 October.

"Per Artem ad Deum" has accompanied the International Exhibition of Church Construction, Church Fittings and Furnishings and Religious Art SACROEXPO for 18 years. The upcoming religious industry expo is held from 19 to 21 June in Targi Kielce. So far, 31 outstanding laureates have been selected, including  Ennio Morricone, Wojciech Killar, Leszek Mądzik, Krzysztof Zanussi, Krzysztof Penderecki and Giuseppe Tornatore.

- We find it a significant undertaking to indicate and select the medal winners. Each application we receive is considered with the utmost care, because each application is unique. This year we are still waiting for new applications both from Poland and abroad. Applications can be submitted no later than 21 October. The necessary documents are available on the Per Artem Ad Deum website - emphasizes Andrzej Mochoń PhD., President of Targi Kielce Management Board.

Book, music and film publishers, museums, galleries, cultural and art institutions, as well as natural persons may out forward candidates for next year's Per Artem Ad Deum award. The application form is available at  perartemaddeum.com website.

The evaluation of the submitted applications was made by the members of the Competition Jury, chaired so far by HE Bishop Marian Florczyk. Apart from the previous laureates of the Per Artem Ad Deum medal, the Chapter also included Andrzej Mochoń PhD., President of Targi Kielce.

The meeting was a part of the Meeting of Male and Female Consulta to the Conference of Polish Church Economy Officers and Monastery Superiors in Poland and events organized by the Forum of Inter-Religious Cooperation

Guests from Incheba-Expo Bratislava showed the potential of the religion-related market of Slovak, Czech, Austrian and Hungarian. The presentation of the September SACROEXPO Slovakia was the occasion. The event is held on 13-14 September in Bratislava and is organised by the Slovak exhibition centre and Targi Kielce.

The first day of the 24th Sacroexpo hosted a featured guest - Fr. Witold Burda PhD., postulator in the beatification process of the Ulma family. The whole family were shot dead by the Germans for helping and hiding Jews. After the lecture, the expo visitor could also see the latest film by Mariusz Pilis - "The Story of One Crime", the movie recently screened in cinemas

The 24th Sacroexpo commenced on 19 June. Not only does it feature devotional items for the faithful and equipment for churches. For the first time, the Targi Kielce expo halls will be filled with the latest works of contemporary religious art. The three days expo includes the screening of the historical film that has just hit the cinemas. A caravanning rally will is staged in the outdoor exhibition grounds of the Kielce exhibition and congress centre. The event is open to the public
