The New Infrastructure Expo features a road-rodeo

Precise driving, precise braking and slalom with a plough on. Such competitions will be the input for the shared excitement of participants of the snowplough operators’ competition at Targi Kielce. The spectacular competition will take place on the second day of the NEW INFRASTRUCTURE expo

In the Kielce exhibition and the congress centre’s outdoor exhibition grounds. The spectacular competitions for snowplough operators are held under the banner of road rodeo. The competition brings together 15 participants from all over Poland, who will compete in the following categories:

  • Competition 1 Race against time precision driving on an artificial track made of separators and cones. The driver starts with the judge's call and has a particular section to be covered. Obstacles are marked with cones and dividers to indicate the track. Driving precision, accuracy and travel time are assessed.
  • Competition 2 Snow plough slalom which culminates with a shot at the goal. At the designated distance, a contestant must push the ball and finally place it in the defined goal
  • Competition 3 Precise braking procedure. The driver accelerates to a speed of 30 km / h and then brakes to stop at the precisely designet spot.

The competitors will use the MAN TGS 18.460 tractor unit. The competition is organised by MotoPark Kraków at the Polish Road Congress’ request.

Targi Kielce in conjunction with the Polish Chamber of Commerce of Road Construction Industry, the Polish Road Congress and the Road and Bridge Research Institute organise the Road and Bridge Maintenance Forum - an event accompanying the New Infrastructure Construction Fair. The forum will be targeted at entities interested in the year-round maintenance of municipal, poviat, voivodeship and national roads, entrepreneurs and road managers. The forum meeting allow to analyse the most important problems of the industry and indicate innovative solutions.
