The Apostolic Nuncio in Poland, Fr. Archbishop. Salvatore Pennacchio made the formal opening of the expo. In his speech, he mentioned the role played by the Sacroexpo, emphasised its importance for the Christian community.

Andrzej Mochoń also referred to the uniting role under challenging times. The President of Targi Kielce's Management Board addressed the guests and mentioned the Sacroexpo specificity - the place where high-brow art meets business.  However, the President of the Board pointed out that Sacroexpo plays (...) a more comprehensive role than just satisfying the material needs of the church. This expo included accompanying events which relate to spirituality, culture and art, deepen the ecumenical dialogue.

The Mayor of Kielce, Bogdan Wenta, emphasised the importance of the expo as a meeting place people find truly important. - I am convinced that this year's Sacroexpo and the people brought together for the event help us find spiritual support, overcome fear and overcome the feeling of loneliness. Because physical isolation does not have to mean spiritual isolation - added the Kielce Mayor.

Zbigniew Koniusz, the Voivode of Świętokrzyskie Province, said that man has tried to get closer to God for centuries.  - With this exhibition, not only can we see what this approach in the past, but also how today's world artists and artisans honour the holiness and bring man closer to God. - he summed up.
