Successful inauguration of 79th Tour de Pologne!

In Kielce, 150 cyclists representing 23 teams set off to join the competition. Kielce was the starting point for this year's Tour de Pologne: the race commenced on 30 July. The day before, Market Square in Kielce saw the official presentation of all contenders and teams.

There was a plethora of excitement related to cycling and competition; the first stage from Kielce to Lublin, as well as the presentation, attracted many viewers. Unfortunately, Michał Kwiatkowski - one of the favourites of the race, had to resign from participation in this year's tour. The last-minute withdrawal was caused by an injury. Polish representation is a part of the competition. During the presentation, the Targi Kielce studio featured The President of Targi Kielce, Andrzej Mochoń PhD., the Mayor of Kielce Bogdan Wenta, the Deputy Mayor of Kielce Marcin Chłodnicki and the legendary sports rapporteur Włodzimierz Rezner.

79th Tour de Pologne: Global-scale cycling returns to Poland

30 July sees the world's top cyclists set off on Polish roads to fight for victory in the 79th Tour de Pologne UCI World Tour. Over 1,200 kilometres, divided into 7 demanding and spectacular stages - Kielce is the starting point for the competition. The grand finale is traditionally staged in Krakow's Błonia Park.

This year, the capital of the Świętokrzyskie Mountains is the set-off point for the 79th Tour de Pologne. Poland's largest cycling event after returns to Kielce after 8 years' break. The best cyclists and teams will commence from Kielce and struggle to win the leader's yellow jersey. Targi Kielce partners the first stage of the Tour de Pologne

Poland's largest cycling event commences from Kielce in this year. Targi Kielce, in addition to the City of Kielce and the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship, are the partner of the first stage of the 79th Tour de Pologne. The competition commences in the capital of the Świętokrzyskie Mountains.
