New PUPC authorities elected

The Polish Union of Plastics Converters has recapitulated the last year of activities; the general members’ meeting was also the occasion to set out the goals for the upcoming period.

The union authorities were also elected Tadeusz Nowicki has been re-elected the president of the board, which has been yet another confirmation of the members’ trust.

2020 was marked at the Union with the SUP directive implementation into the Polish legal system as well as with the Extended Producer Responsibility. These developments overlapped with the recycling companies’ situation during the pandemic, the plastic tax and the deposit system introduction.

In the new term of office, the organisation wishes to continue its focus on the planned legislative-environment changes which impact the industry, related to, e.g. waste management, recycling, environmental protection, as well as issues such as SUP, Extended Producer Responsibility, Circular Economy, and the deposit system.

The management board includes:  Tadeusz Nowicki (president), Wojciech Filek, Marek Kapłucha, Paweł Kiełczawa, Lech Skibiński.

Power of plastics industry on PLASTPOL Fair in Kielce
One of the Events accompanying this year's edition of the PLASTPOL Fair in Kielce will be traditionally the PLASTECH INFO Technical Seminar. It will be held on the second day of the Fair, on September 22, 2021 (Wednesday), and the theme around which the presentation will be focused has been defined as "PLASTIC PROCESSING TECHNOLOGIES AS A DRIVING FORCE FOR INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT".
