MSPO 2020 features PGZ and the United Kingdom
The Thursday (16/07/2020) was the organisational meeting day. The issues related to the exhibition preparation progress, the September events’ agenda and a very wide-scope hygienic safety and security scheme and its particular measures were discussed in the course of the session. The guests were informed, inter alia, about the fact that the eight multifunctional compartment with personal sanitary control units on board are installed and used at Targi Kielce’s MSPO. There will also be points of sale offering protective face masks and disposable gloves. The special "entry zones" are also equipped with hand disinfection systems. The organiser has also prepared metal detecting gates and devices.
The Polish Armaments Group’s representatives presented the company's position regarding its participation in this year's event, the communication is also published on the Strategic Partner's website: “Following the Targi Kielce management board’s decision to organise the XXVIII International Defence Industry Exhibition on 8-10 September, PGZ wishes to inform that the group intends to participate in this project, the sanitary conditions allowing. Our involvement scope and form is the subject to the public-health situation in the country. The concern for visitors’ and PGZ SA employees’ safety remains the basic criterion, complemented by economic-feasibility analysis(…) ”.
- This has been the first meeting after Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki resolved that the Polish Armaments Group participates in MSPO. The working meeting atmosphere was friendly. We have learnt, however, that Polish Armaments Group does not intend to bring exhibits to Kielce. The experts participation was only indicated - informs Andrzej Mochoń - I hope that we will be able to persuade the Polish Armaments Group that it is worth showcasing the equipment PGZ produces.
The British Embassy representatives confirmed their willingness to participate in the event. They also highlighted the fact UK companies find business contacts and relations with PGZ-companies particularly important.
The MSPO 2020’s exhibitors list includes 130 companies from 16 countries, and among them 15 exhibitors from the United States - Boeing, Raytheon, and Vector Nav Technologies, et.al. The overseas companies’ expo stands are manned by European representatives of these companies; this decision has been made in order to reduce the pandemic risk.
