Kielce Bike-Expo features interesting webinars

Thursday, 28 January marks the return of the online project, a part of the Kielce Bike-Expo

The monthly virtual meetings' agenda includes exciting topics related to both bike maintenance and service. The speakers will also talk about the necessary accessories and bicycle equipment, routes selection and two-wheelers trips worldwide.

The event objective is to present to interesting cycling facts world and offer inspiration for two-wheeler lovers.

The first meeting in the series is held on 28 January at 10:00 am - "Cycling through the world with Kielce Bike-Expo" is the meeting's banner.  The session features

  • Valerjan Romanovski who has completed more than ten projects, some of them have been included in the Guinness books of records.  The challenges focussed on individual long-distance rides and the highest elevation of the route. Most of the projects are carried out in low temperatures ambience; sometimes it is as much as -170 ° C. Romanovski also has a ride in the 75°C heat during the 24-hour exercise bike project. He also experienced the largest temperature difference of 240 ° C.

  • Marcin Jakub Korzonek will tell about his lonely bike trip along one of the most famous roads in the world - from Srinagar to Leh and from Leh to Manali. The speaker covered 1,300 km stretch in the Indian part of the Himalayas known as Little Tibet. He climbed 10 mountain passes - 3000 m high, four of which were over 5000 m above sea level,  conquered the famous Khardong La Pass (5360 m), which until recently was considered the highest passable pass in the world.  The meeting also offers the chance to find out why this dangerous road was created by the Indian army. The road itself is open only a few months a year. Join us and learn how it feels to ride a bicycle when the oxygen in the air drops by 50%.

  • Ewa Świderska - a psychologist who turned tourism manager and an English teacher by education, she has been devoted to her bike travelling passion for years.  She travels alone, yet has already visited over 40 countries on 3 continents.  In 2013, she bicycle-travelled Asia. The journey started with Japan, she stayed for almost 4 years on this continent. While travelling, she stayed in the Chinese province of Xinjiang for several months, where she lived and worked.  That was the starting point for her return to Europe. She biked along the legendary Silk Road stretching from China, through Central Asia, the Middle East, the Caucasus and Turkey. Ewa, time allowing is the creator of www.ewcyna.com. blog.
