There was a great interest in the training on "Cold corpse turned into pure beauty forever", conducted by Jacek Szymański from the Pathomed Funeral Training Department during the NECROEXPO in Kielce. The purpose of make-up and similar is to see the deceased person in a positive light when offering them a farewell.

Jacek Szymański, thanatocosmetics and embalming professional, started with advice on how to deal with the body.

- Try to work to hide what is unnecessary, such as bruises or injuries. As for make-up, talk to the family, and loved ones, and learn how they see the face of the deceased,  don't be afraid to inquire. Ask for photos taken during your lifetime and use them to model the make-up on.  - I remember a lady who asked for a very strong make-up for her mother, a full range of shades, as this is what she used to wear every day. And she was delighted with the effect.

Numerous funeral-industry entrepreneurs listened to recommendations,  with one conclusion. Act o that the people gathered at a funeral remember the positive face of the deceased person.

- Sometimes, we act on the verge of cadaver desecration; stitching or removing a body trait is a violation of the body's dignity. You are advised to be careful and remember what our goal is - to create a good image - he explained.

The same pertains to embalming;  a growing interest in is also caused by the influx of people from Ukraine, where this treatments are much more frequent than in Poland.
