3D print offers its aid in the battle

03 april 2020
Polish 3D printing industry representatives have expressed their seal to help in the fight against coronavirus and have thus organised the #DrukarzeDlaSzpitali [#PrintersForHospitals] campaign

Italy is one of those countries which have been most strongly hit by the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic -  Italy faces enormous problems related to the necessary life-saving equipment deliveries to hospitals. Replacement valves for respirator systems have become one of the most scarce products now.  Isinnova has created a valve design which makes it possible to use a 3D printed in FDM technology, the initial tests have proved to be a real success. The SLS technology was used in consecutive prints - the company can produce 100 pieces in 24 hours.

The #DrukarzeDlaSzpitali campaign has started in Poland -  the project coordinators are looking for 3D printing solutions which can be used for the purpose.

Facebook's campaign profile offers most up-to-date information on ongoing activities  as well as information exchange platform. Solution creators can be informed about an ongoing processes, the institutions’ needs, including personal protective equipment.

The next opportunity to express gratitude for the 3D printing  industry  is the autumn 3D PRINT DAYS - a part of the Targi Kielce Industrial Autumn.  We look forward to seeing you in Kielce - 22-24 September 2020.
