3rd Fair of Rubber Industry TOPGUM

This year, the Kielce fair dedicated to the rubber industry attracted 40 exhibitors representing not only Poland, but also Italy, China and the Czech Republic, in addition to 500 visitors. Some of the exhibiting companies are the largest players on the rubber market – manufacturers of tyres, technical products made of rubber, conveyor belts and rubber flooring, as well as producers and distributors of rubber processing equipment, additives and tools.
To meet expectations of the large number of exhibitors and visitors showing interest in lectures and seminars conducted by experienced industry professionals, e.g. representatives of the Rubber Industry Association EKOGUMA, the organizers of the 2nd TOPGUM fair prepared a session on the current status and prospects for the future development of the rubber industry, as well as on the modification and functionalization of polymers.
The superior accompanying event of this year's ToPGUM was an Olympiad "Safety with an A-Mark", organized in co-operation with the Provincial Commend of the Police for 5-Grade students from schools located in the Świętokrzyskie Province. It took place on the second day of the fair, i.e. on 20th November. About three hundred 5-Grade students cheered twelve teams of three participants each on. It was the first provincial competition of this kind organized with the view of preparing children for safe and careful behaviour during their holidays, forming habits which will prevent hazardous situations, and providing information relating to crime prevention, environmental protection, first aid, fire protection, as well as water and road safety.
During the 2nd Fair of Rubber Industry TOPGUM, the best products and the most interesting ideas for stand arrangement were honoured with medals and awards of distinctions of Kielce Trade Fairs.
The Fair of Rubber Industry TOPGUM provides a presentation of rubber processing technologies: beginning with the preparation and development of basic raw materials – natural and synthetic rubber – and finishing with final products used in many sectors of industry. This fair is focused on the producers and distributors of rubber processing equipment, natural and synthetic rubber, additives applied in rubber processing, special processing tools, tyres, technical products made of rubber, conveyor belts, rubber flooring systems.
