Targi Kielce's FIT WEEKEND attracted massive crowds! 

Almost 6 thousand visitors called in Targi Kielce on 23 and 24 April in order to take part of the FIT WEEKEND. The two-day sports festival was a cluster of several parallel events. Several stages featured prestigious sporting events. The sports festival was accompanied with the exhibition.  They organizers' highlights and intentions came true - FIT WEEKEND was southern Poland's largest event of its kind.

There were events galore this year's FIT Weekend was composed of.  Targi Kielce hosted representatives of several sports disciplines and types, and among them  professional sports-people and fans of bodybuilding, Muay Thai, MMA, pole dance, fitness, and bench-press.  More than 60 companies put on show supplements, sports clothing and services for those who are into active pass-time.  FIT Weekend and Active & Beauty Expo used more than a thousand meters of exhibition space; this was the display for the business sector's best companies.

The limelight on bodybuilding and strongmen

Poland's Men, Women and Pair Championship in Bodybuilding and Fitness Grand Prix was the event's highlight.  The two-day presentation included more than 130 contestants; the best in several categories were pronounced in the course of the event. The award categories included classic bodybuilding through beach-bodybuilding and bikini-fitness. The 80 strongest ones were also competing at the Polish Classic Bench Press Cup.

Pole dance freaks

The Targi Kielce Congress Centre was the stage for the first Polish Pole Dance-Show Fairs Cup and the EXOTIC Pole Dance Show Competition. This increasingly popular form of activity attracted huge audiences. On the first and second day of the competition the OMEGA hall was a full house. Owing to Targi Kielce and My Way Pole Dance, we have had a chance to admire the competition of nearly 60 field dancers from all corners of Poland; they were all competing to be awarded the champion title. Lady-dancers and the two male-dancers amazed the audiences with moves, flexibility and choreography complexity. The competition was a top-quality event - this was stressed by the jury panel members: Natalia Tatarinsteva, Nina Kozub, Vaclav Ruza - the world-class pole dancers.

A real blast

For two days one of the expo halls was turned into a fighting arena. The Poland's Muay Thai Championships IFMA was an inseparable part of 2016's FIT WEEKEND.  Igor Makowski was pronounced Poland's Muay Thai Thai Champion.  On Saturday evening, i.e. the first day of the event Targi Kielce was the stage for MMA Gala - Spartan Fight 3 / K1.

Fitness, workout, indoor cycling...

The visitors had a choice of several sectors - under the supervision of professional trainers the expo centre guests could try their hand at different forms of fitness. There were trampolines, bicycles, zumba, fitness, yoga ...  street workout demonstrations attracted huge attention. Stunts performance of Dynasty Workout - Street Workout Team were showered with thunderous applause. Viewers were really kept at the edge of their seat and expressed appreciation for the guys' skill.

In a nut-shell - the FIT weekend was intense, loud and engaging. Both keen sport loves and those who were seeking motivation to make their lifestyle more active had a chance to find something to their taste. They had also a chance to meet celebrities and sports stars. The guests list included FIT Weekend ambassadors - Wojciech Pieczaba and Ryan Terry.
