ZM Tarnów S.A., PCO S.A., WCBKT S.A. and Belma S.A. signed the agreements with the Ministry of Defence's Armaments Inspectorate under which the companies will deliver modern equipment for the Polish army. The total value of the contracts amounts to 100,000,000 PLN gross
The contract signed by the Ministry of Defence's Armaments Inspectorate and the Mechanical Works Tarnów provides for delivery of over 650 repetitive guns for snipers, calibre 7.62 "Bor" powered with a 7.62mm x 51 NATO cartridge. The rifle is to be used as precise fire gun, distances of up to 1200 m, live targets and light armour military equipment.
The contract with the Inspectorate was also signed by the Warsaw-based PCO S.A., Poland's largest manufacturer of optoelectronic devices for surveillance as well as of sighting devices. Under the contract, MU-3ADM night vision goggles and night vision NPL-1M binoculars i.e. the soldier's personal equipment will be delivered.
Within the framework of the agreement concluded with the Inspectorate, BELMA S.A. will supply over 150 sets of ISM scatterable mines cluster MN-123. The MN-123 is designed to be set in minefields with the use an engineering mine-laying system. The mines are equipped with a cumulative charge and non-contact igniter with self-cleaning and self-neutralization option.
Another contract was signed by WCBKT S.A. at the Targi Kielce's International Defence Industry Exhibition MSPO. This year, the company will provide airport power supply system for LUZES V / N aircraft. The device is designed to power on-board aircraft electric systems during engine start-up as well as to carry out technical inspection of deck equipment at any place of the air-base or of a landing site.
